The people side of a high-stakes sale

Selling a home can be stressful because the decision is both personal and financial. Heather’s role begins with listening: understanding what matters to the seller, identifying constraints, and making sure each recommendation supports the seller’s goals.

She takes the time to answer questions, explain available options, and investigate concerns before they become larger problems. That attention is especially valuable for homeowners managing a complex move, coordinating a sale and purchase, or relocating to or from Southern Arizona.

“It’s important to me to help you explore all of your options, including ones you may not have considered, and find the one that works best for you.”

Experience built around complex transactions

Heather began her real estate career in 2006, but her connection to the industry started earlier. While still in high school, she worked in a mortgage brokerage office, supporting the company with administrative work. That early experience confirmed that real estate was the career she wanted to pursue.

Her first transaction was unusually demanding: a “triple sale.” Heather listed a home, found and represented the buyer, and then helped the seller purchase their next property. Coordinating all three parts required careful communication, timing, and problem-solving – skills that have remained central to her work through hundreds of transactions since.

Heather has worked alongside Michael Oliver since 2012. Together, they lead an independent Tucson brokerage focused on higher-value homes and seller outcomes. Michael concentrates on pricing, market positioning, and negotiation, while Heather brings close client communication, attention to detail, and a practical instinct for resolving issues.

Heather’s role in the Oliver Selling Solution

The Oliver Selling Solution is Oliver Realty’s named process for helping sellers pursue the strongest possible result. It brings together data-backed pricing, thoughtful preparation, premium marketing, buyer-response analysis, and negotiation.

Understanding the seller’s goals
Clarifying timing, financial priorities, privacy concerns, and the practical realities surrounding the move.
Explaining the options
Helping sellers weigh trade-offs instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all recommendation.
Coordinating the details
Keeping the many moving parts of a high-value transaction organised and moving forward.
Identifying problems early
Watching for issues that could introduce delay, uncertainty, or unnecessary stress.
Maintaining clear communication
Making sure clients understand what is happening, why it matters, and what comes next.

Local knowledge that goes beyond a market report

Heather moved to Catalina, just north of Oro Valley, while she was in elementary school and considers the Tucson area home. Her knowledge of the region is grounded in daily life as well as real estate experience.

That local perspective helps her notice details that can shape a buyer’s experience of a property. Community character, commute patterns, elevation, outdoor space, and even window orientation can affect how a home feels in the Sonoran Desert. A west-facing room, for example, may hold substantially more afternoon heat—an apparently small detail that can influence comfort and buyer perception.

Personal roots & values

Beyond real estate

Heather was born in Wyoming and is a descendant of the Eastern Shoshone people of the Wind River Indian Reservation. Her family’s heritage remains an important part of her life, and visiting Wyoming with her children so they could connect with those roots is one of her most valued memories.

Outside work, Heather enjoys puzzles, yoga, cooking, and time with her family. Those details are personal, but they also reflect how she approaches real estate: with curiosity, patience, and a willingness to keep working until the pieces fit.
